When we view life through the lens of eternity, we find out that the things God has given us in this life are not meant to only be used on ourselves, but also to generously give to others. When we have opportunity, we should try to be generous to our congregation such as helping families with skills you have that they don’t; inviting people over for a meal to encourage them; or even share the gospel with them. Most often when people think of generosity they think of giving money. But being generous is more than money. It’s using your time, talents and treasure as a means to minister to others and worship God as you do it.
Being generous with all we have is simply a response to understanding the gospel, and how generous our God has been to us.
