In today’s discussion on Abram’s journey of faith, we see that God makes a covenant with Abram. Whereas covenants at that time required both parties to agree to something (thereby binding both to the terms of the covenant), God does something different. He unilaterally makes the covenant and takes it upon Himself to pay the price if Abram doesn’t fulfill his part.
