Who and How We Serve
Ministry to the Whole Person
At Grace Point, you would see that we are interested in ministering to the total person. This emphasis is seen in our relevant teaching time and in all aspects of our programs.
A small group, a church dinner, a camping trip, a ball game, and a host of other activities constantly remind us that God relates to all of life.
Family worship, we believe, strengthens the home, and strong homes produce strong persons. A proper balance exists between age-geared programs and those the whole family can enjoy together.
We place a great emphasis on preserving and strengthening family units.
Whatever the age of your children, you'll find that we value them highly and strive to help parents meet their spiritual needs through clear Bible instruction.
- Sunday School offers a class for every age, with nursery care beginning at six weeks.
- Children are taught biblical content and trained to give expression to what they are learning.
- Children's Church for grades 1-6, runs simultaneously with the morning services.
- A week of Vacation Bible School (We call it GP Kids Camp) is a big attraction each summer.
- GP Kids, on Wednesday evenings during the school year, has a variety of profitable and enjoyable activities that appeal to children.
Our student ministry, GPC Youth, exists to encourage 7th-12th graders to relentlessly pursue the God who relentlessly pursues them.
Since Sunday night is the least busy night in the life of a teen, we meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. every Sunday night during the school year. At Launch, our Sunday night program, we get together to play games, sing, listen to relevant and practical teaching, and meet in small groups. Our student program also offers many special activities throughout the year.
Find us on Facebook (@GracePointChurchYouth), Twitter, and Instagram (both @G_P_CYouth) to stay up to date with our most current events and teaching series.
Designed to promote authentic community, these small group meetings are environments where people can pursue a deeper relationship with God and feel free to be themselves. Groups meet throughout the week at various times and locations. They are diverse in makeup but each incorporates prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Many people in our church would say that their involvement in a Community Group has made a huge difference in their spiritual lives and relationships.
Contact the church office for more information or to let us know you are interested in being part of one.
When you attend a worship service here, you will likely notice that people are participants and not just spectators. We believe that our worship is given as an offering of praise to God. We encourage the use of music, drama, monologues, and other artistic expression in our service to Him.
A church's heart for missions is reflected in several areas. One is the financial commitment the church is willing to make. A significant portion of our budget is devoted to missions. We help in the support of about twelve missionaries and several mission agencies and send out an ever-growing number of people on short-term missions projects each year. This church will provide interested people with many opportunities to become part of reaching our world for Christ.
Audio Ministry and Library
All of our morning messages are recorded and made available digitally (on iTunes or our website) or in hard copy (by request). The library, accessible from the South Wing, offers a variety of books, CD's and videos for your personal enrichment and spiritual growth.
Our pastors are available for pastoral--not clinical--counseling. In the vast majority of circumstances this is the most appropriate help that can be given.
In an effort to share the timeless Word with those who cannot hear with their ears, we sign most of the services for the hearing impaired.
